What is the Job Ready Program?

The Job Ready Program is an integrated component of Wyatt Education Group's CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling. It is specifically designed to bridge the gap between completing your qualification and stepping confidently into paid employment in the NSW construction industry.

Western Sydney's construction sector is one of the fastest-growing in Australia โ€” and demand for qualified tilers has never been higher. Our Job Ready Program ensures that when you graduate, you don't just have a nationally recognised certificate โ€” you have everything you need to walk onto a job site and start working.

The programme covers workplace health and safety compliance, NSW licensing requirements, resume and job application support, and connects graduates directly with our network of construction employers and contractors in the Bankstown, Parramatta, and greater Western Sydney region.

Nationally Recognised Training

The Job Ready Program is delivered as part of CPC31320, a nationally recognised qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). RTO 46003 | CRICOS 04130B.

๐ŸŒ PR Pathway โ€” Permanent Residency

The Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (CPC31320) is a nationally recognised trade qualification that may support your pathway to Australian Permanent Residency (PR). Tiling and construction trades appear on Australia's skilled occupation lists, and a nationally recognised trade qualification is a key requirement for skilled migration visa applications.

We recommend consulting a registered migration agent for personalised visa advice. Wyatt Education Group provides the qualification โ€” your first step on the PR pathway.

Job Ready Program โ€” FAQs

Is the Job Ready Program a separate course I need to pay for? +
No โ€” the Job Ready Program is fully integrated into the CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling at no additional cost. It is part of your enrolment, not a separate programme.
Do I need a licence to work as a tiler in NSW? +
You need a NSW Fair Trading Contractor Licence to operate as a self-employed tiling contractor. However, if you are working as an employee for a licensed builder or contractor, you do not need your own licence โ€” just your qualification and White Card. Our programme covers both pathways.
Does Wyatt guarantee job placement after graduation? +
We do not guarantee employment, however we provide industry connections, employer introductions, resume support, and direct introductions to our network of industry employers and contractors. Our graduates have a strong track record of finding employment in Western Sydney's construction industry.
Is this programme available for international students? +
Yes โ€” the CPC31320 course, including the Job Ready Program, is available to international students on student visas. The course is CRICOS registered (119407M). International students should be aware of their work rights on a student visa โ€” we recommend checking current visa conditions with the Department of Home Affairs.
Can I do RPL and still access the Job Ready Program? +
Yes. RPL students who complete gap training are eligible for the Job Ready Program components. Speak to our admissions team about your specific circumstances when applying for RPL.
What is the White Card and how do I get it? +
The White Card is the General Construction Induction Card required by law to work on any construction site in Australia. It is completed as part of the Job Ready Program โ€” you do not need to organise it separately. All Wyatt CPC31320 students complete this training and receive their White Card before graduation.
